Nice gig: all the power, no responsibility
“The authority of the president of the United States, having to do with the subject we’re talking about, is total. The president of the United States calls the shots.” It's absurdly hilarious that he claims no responsibility for anything but all the power. Never mind the constitution (like he cares): He's a joke of a man. Throughout this whole situation, indeed his whole term, he is constantly saying two things simultaneously: No one else has any authority, and he is never responsible. Those are his two favorite themes in the world: his power and someone's else's responsibility for failure, the big cheese who decides everything but never answers for the results.
